A little over a week ago, we saw this CC8 50 in Cernobbio at Lake Como in Italy at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. And now it seems Christian von Koenigsegg is taking a short break with his newest vehicle.
The CC8 50 naturally fits perfectly in front of one of the five-star hotels in Monaco. After all, the most expensive vehicles in the world are present there all year round. Even Batman is a loyal customer of this hotel...
Koenigsegg had a large presence in Cernobbio over a week ago at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este and simultaneously at the Fuori Concorso (about which we have written a detailed report on both events. If you haven't seen it yet, click on the links). On one hand, Koenigsegg showcased the CC8 50 in the concept car class, which is exactly the one here in Monaco, and at the Fuori there were also some customer vehicles and vehicles from Esser, the German Koenigsegg dealer. A somewhat funny fact about this CC8 50 is that this exact model was already at the Concorso VDE a year ago, but as a visitor. Because even then, Christian von Koenigsegg drove it to Italy. However, he was not an active participant. Maybe he just took a closer look at the event to see if it would be something for the future. And indeed, he must have liked it very much (or he discovered the great potential customer base). Maybe they will return next year with the Gemera or even with a completely new car.
