Most people have dedicated their interest to a specific topic. Here on Autogespot, it is, of course, all about cars. Occasionally, topics do get mixed. This spot is sure to be a top spot for any aviation fan.
A relatively small number of spotters (whether plane spotters or car spotters) are interested in both airplanes and cars at the same time. However, there are a few. When a spot combining both themes appears, it's something pretty cool. Sometimes cars are shot in front of an airplane, or airplanes somehow appear in the background of car pictures. In this spot, the intention was to photograph airplanes. However, a rather special car sneaked into the picture. We're talking about a Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG W166, which is normally used on professional film sets. For example, such cars are used in Hollywood films. These are usually high-performance (mostly older) SUVs that are completely matte black painted or wrapped and have a huge mobile rig with the attached and movable camera. All rear and front lights are also covered in black. The reason for this was the footage for the hundredth anniversary of the Pratica military base, where a huge air show took place. The spotter JACK888 Turin Spotter quickly reacted and took a few snapshots of the specially modified vehicle.
